When you come to Chago’s you are entering a Puerto Rican food haven. All menu items are authentic – they were passed down through the families of Chef Chago and his wife, Solemar. Come visit us and you will be pleased with our delicious menu and service.

We have several tasty dishes to choose from. Our specialties include Mofongos made from fried green plantains which are mashed together in a pilón (which is a mortar), with broth, garlic, olive oil, and pork crackling; Chago’s Pernil Asado and Fricase de Pollo. The mofongos are served with fried pork (carne frita), beef (bistec encebollado), chicken cracklings (chicarrones de pollo) or shrimp (camarones). We also offer our delicious “Mofongo Aniversario” which comes in a mortar and pestle. The “Mofongo Aniversario” is ideal for any special occasion; it is filled with our fabulous fricase de pollo and a side salad with cilantro dressing. Don’t forget to toast it all down with a delicious Piña Colada.
