If you grow up in a dominican household, you’re introduced to tasty flavors at a young age. You learn that behind every savor there is a story. My grandmother shared these stories as she taught me to season and cook rice, beans, chicken etc. At a very young age she expressed to me the importance of balancing flavors and recipes. When my grandmother passed, she left instilled in me and my siblings ample instructions detailing how to create the delicious dishes we share with our customers today. It brings joy to my family to see that Mama Fefita’s cooking lives through us and our restaurant.
