Caoba Brooklyn Bistro is a pioneer in New York’ City’s vibrant and growing scene of authentic local eateries with a Dominican heritage. Their mouth-watering menu consists of traditional Dominican cuisine served with warm hospitality. This gem sits right in your backyard on the eastern edge of Brooklyn. A neighborhood that’s rich in its own history with homes where farms once stood and its many parks like Highland Park, just steps away from the Long Island Railroad’s Atlantic Branch stop at East New York. Caoba got its name from the Spanish word for mahogany, a fine wood native to the Caribbean. Caoba has a solid wood dining area accented with unassuming industrial hints. A classic full-length mahogany bar serves up tropical cocktails including Caoba’s twists on the classics. Seating beyond the bar falls into three categories: a long communal table, small wooden four-tops built in along the wall, and exceptionally comfortable booths built for small or large groups. Look forward to toasting to the beginning of summer al fresco. During the warmer months Caoba offers outdoor seating in its Patio Español, a natural space of beauty reminiscent of a courtyard in Spain.
