Arepa Mia

Casual Dining and Sandwich shop at downtown Atlanta Claim this listing

The beginnings of  the restaurant is heartwarming. According to the owner the name Arepa Mia is about her  heart, her arepas, and her mom.

In Venezuela, her mother made arepas on the streets for more than 25 years. As a young child, she helped her mom as much as she could and later realized that cooking is her passion. She learned through hands-on experience the process of making an arepa – from picking the freshest ingredients to making the real one. To make the long story short, the traditional homestyle cuisine was brought to Atlanta in 2011

Arepa Mia is about simple comfort, simple love, and simple food. It makes you think about family and good times.
