Named after the district on the southern St. Elizabeth/Manchester border in Jamaica, from which this family hails, Downs District is a new restaurant in Jamaica, Queens dedicated to authentic Jamaican cuisine, friendly service and the proliferation of Jamaican Coolness. We are a family-run business providing freshly prepared meat and seafood, cooked over an open flame with exceptional taste and sold at affordable prices.
